The Center for Business in Society (CBS) is dedicated to corporate social responsibility, contributing to research in this field and working to offer useful answers to the business community.We are characterized by our international scope, our desire to generate action-oriented knowledge and our multi-disciplinary, integrative approach so as to stimulate dialogue and the exchange of ideas.

Dedicated to building economies that benefit people and the planetThe world is confronted with unprecedented challenges, notably climate change, the current COVID-19 global pandemic, the rise of populism and the digital and biological revolutions. The first three threaten the economic and social wellbeing of this and the next generations; the last one is both a source of disruption and considerable opportunities. All of them constitute major change factors as the responses to these challenges will shape the world of tomorrow. E4S is founded on the conviction that our world is at a critical juncture and that many drivers of our social and economic lives will soon be unrecognizable. This situation creates both uncertainties and opportunities.

The mission of the UCLA Luskin Latin American Cities Initiative is to develop and deepen knowledge networks among students, educators, and professionals in the arena of urban planning and policy in South, Central, and North America. They are focusing on identifying and establishing connections with academic and professional networks across the region, and beginning to invite scholars from Latin America to UCLA. As the initiative grows, we will seek to serve as a networking and information portal for groups and individuals. and to fund collaborative research projects.

The fundamental mission of the Center for Law, Society & Culture is to promote and disseminate a multidisciplinary understanding of law through scholarship, teaching, and discussion. The Center produces, presents, and coordinates research conducted by exceptional scholars in schools and departments across Indiana University on the subject of law and legal problems. The Center also oversees two innovative programs for students at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law: the Access to Justice service learning program and the Bradley Fellows in Criminal Law and Procedure.

The Center for Research on Computation and Society (CRCS), at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, brings together computer scientists and scholars from a broad range of fields to make advances in computational research that serve public interest. We are currently collaborating on interdisciplinary projects in areas such as conservation and public health. CRCS is informed by a deep knowledge of the societal issues at stake and by a commitment to advancing the human condition through cutting edge collaboration between computational and social science.

The research centre SustBusy (Business and Society – Towards a Sustainable World) was founded in 2013. It provides a platform for research on sustainability in business and society at ESCP and beyond. A key feature of the centre is its members’ broad range of backgrounds who hail from different disciplines within Economics and Management; another key feature is their drive for interdisciplinary exchange and synergies in research and teaching.
