The Boston University Global Development Policy (GDP) Center is a policy-oriented research center working to advance financial stability, human well-being and environmental sustainability across the globe. A University-wide research center in partnership with the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies and the Office of Research at Boston University, the GDP Center is built upon five pillars: fostering a global development policy community at Boston University, advancing scholarly knowledge of global development policy, engaging in global policy dialogue, supporting student research and experiential learning and building a global support base for such efforts.

The National Security Policy Center is housed at the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. The Center provides evidence-based teaching, research, and policy engagement on pressing security issues facing the United States and the globe. They seek to increase knowledge, build capability, develop relationships, and improve communication, both within the U.S. government, between the U.S. government and academics, and between the U.S. and foreign powers. They prepare students and security professionals for the challenging security issues of the twenty-first century.

The Center for Public Health Law and Policy explores fascinating and emerging global and domestic issues in public health law, policy, and ethics. The center brings students together with leading scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to address critical challenges at the intersection of law, ethics, policy, and the public’s health. The center also hosts the Western Region Office of the Network for Public Health Law, supported primarily by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The Global Health Law and Policy Project provides a unique multidisciplinary platform for developing, exploring, and evaluating global health initiatives.

The Center for Technology, Society & Policy is a multidisciplinary research and design/build center focusing on the emergent social and policy issues arising from the development and adoption of technology. We seek to build a community of researchers and technologists on campus and beyond who engage with these issues in collaboration with community organizations and advocates, policy-makers, and technology companies.

Established in 1996 and located within the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, the Center for Health Financing, Policy and Management aims to advance community, organizational and health system innovation and effectiveness, both domestically and internationally, through leading-edge applied healthcare research, analysis, and knowledge dissemination.The Center’s mission focuses on expanding society’s knowledge to improve healthcare, health system performance and effective management of health service delivery. In addition, the Center’s work encompasses consideration of health financing policies that align incentives to support change.
