Statement of Purpose

The Matthew B. Ridgway Center for International Security Studies believes that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Creating original and impartial analyses, the Ridgway Center helps inform policymakers who confront diverse challenges such as the spread of international terrorism, counterinsurgency, and the rise of transnational organized crime. It was Named after the man best remembered for salvaging the United Nations’ efforts during the Korean War.
