The Global Leadership Matrix (GLeaM) Program is a new CBS initiative aiming to advance the science of leadership and train leaders across the globe. Through a wide range of synergistic research and education initiatives, GLEaM is driving cutting-edge leadership insights and giving individuals and organizations the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

The Center for Public Research and Leadership (CPRL) at Columbia University strives to revitalize public school systems while reinventing professional education. CPRL conducts high-impact consulting projects for our clients in the education sector and provides rigorous coursework, skills training, and real world experiential learning for our graduate students who attend programs at Columbia University and across the country.

The Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative, as an initiative of The Forest School at the Yale School of the Environment, supports the efforts of people to design and implement an array of land use practices and initiatives that conserve and restore tropical forests and native tree cover in human-dominated landscapes that are rich in biodiversity.

The National Center for Leadership in Intensive Intervention-2 (NCLII-2) prepares special education leaders to have expertise in meeting the “intense service needs” of students with complex and comorbid learning disabilities and behavior disorders (CLBD).

The Hart Leadership Program is a distinctive Sanford School of Public Policy program offered to all Duke University undergraduates, including public policy students. With guidance from innovative faculty, it challenges students to practice the art of leadership in public life. Founded in 1986 with a generous gift from Milledge A. Hart III and his family, HLP was the first endowed leadership program for undergraduates in the United States. Since then, thousands of Duke undergraduate students have participated in HLP courses or experiential programs.

The Gender and Intersectional Analysis program at The Fletcher School examines political, socioeconomic, legal and cultural power through an intersectional lens.
